How we handle your data, and the terms of using this site
Afroglobal Trade LTD is committed to protecting your privacy and to making this website accessible to everyone. This page sets out our privacy policy, cookie policy, accessibility statement and website terms.
Privacy policy
Last updated 2 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Afroglobal Trade LTD collects through this website, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
The data controller is Afroglobal Trade LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 10826013), with its registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For any privacy query, email info@afroglobaltrade.com.
What we collect and why
We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us:
- Contact form enquiries — your name, email address, organisation, the nature of your enquiry and your message. We use this to respond to you and, where relevant, to discuss a potential business relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Email and WhatsApp — if you contact us directly, we hold the correspondence and your contact details for the same purposes. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.
We do not collect special-category data, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Contact form submissions are received and stored on our behalf by our website hosting provider, which acts as our data processor. Where any processor stores data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. We may disclose personal data where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for the duration of any business relationship and the period required afterwards by law and for legitimate record-keeping. We then delete it securely.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to our processing; and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@afroglobaltrade.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and protected by industry-standard security headers. Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it to handle your enquiry.

If we introduce analytics or any other cookie-setting technology in future, this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
